{Story of Us} s e s s i o n s

 

More than an engagement session. More than just photos of the two of you before your wedding. The Story of Us session is a chance for me to get to know you as a couple and for you to get a preview of what it's like to work with me. Of course, you don't have to be engaged for a Story of Us session. My heart for these sessions is to capture the true essence of the two of you together. That might be goofiness, tenderness or somewhere in between. When it's just us, you are less inhibited and your story unfolds. These sessions are so special to me because I get the chance to capture your connection forever.

 

Growing up, we had a photo of my parents that was huge. It was a nice formal portrait, nothing fancy. But they weren't in their wedding clothes and my sister and I didn't exist. It was this little moment in time when it was just them. They looked so young and in love. I treasure that photo!!! My parents are still together and I think about all that they have been through in the journey together and that photo is an irreplaceable foundational memory for all of us. Can't you imagine your own family looking at the start of your story years from now?

 

Sessions last about 2.5 hours and take place on location. It is meant for a couple only. Any third party constitutes a Lifestyle Session. The final images from your session will be available online in a gallery for 90 days as well as an online slideshow. Story of Us sessions include an image disc that prints up to 5x7. If you book a Story of Us Session with your Signature Wedding Coverage the image disc is full resolution!
